Download power point CHAPLIN, Laugh, Live, Dream Life is a drama that allows no rehearsals... Sing, therefore, laugh, dance, cry and live intensely. Live intensely each moment of your life... Before the curtain falls, and the show finishes without applause.             Courage, smile!  But don’t hide in that smile... Show all that you are, without fear. Some will dream and rejoice with your smile. Live! Try it! Dream! But do not harm anyone. Believe! Hope! There is always an exit, there is always a star that shines. Life is a try at being. Love! Love above everything. Love everything  and everyone. Don’t close your eyes to the dirt in the world, to violence, to injustice... Never ignore HUNGER. Forget war, do something to stop it, even if you feel powerless. Search! whatever good there is in everything and everyone. Don’t make a distance out of shortcomings; turn them into a bridge. Accept!  life and persons; make of them your reason to be alive. Understand! the persons who think differently, Do not reject them. Hi! Look... see how many friends... Today, have you already made anybody happy? Or, did you pain anyone with your selfishness? Hey! Do not run... Why the rush?  Please, relax. Come up...  Change the obstacles into steps to reach the goals you desire. Do not forget those who could not climb the staircase of life. HELP THEM! DISCOVER! everything  good that you have inside . Above everything try to be   A PERSON, (I will try it also myself) Live relaxed! Live intensely each moment of your life. Sing,   laugh, dance, cry... Put humor into action. Each day drink a little glass of laughter.   NEVER HESITATE TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF LAUDLY. Courage!  And now go in peace.  I love you.

After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park,  Forest rangers began their trek up  a mountain to assess the inferno’s damage.  One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes,

Perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree.  Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight,He knocked over the bird with a stick.

When he gently struck it, Three tiny chicks scurried from  under their dead mother’s wings.

The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster,   Had carried her offspring to the base of the tree, and had gathered them under her wings.  Instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown to safety,  but had refused to abandon her babies.  Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body,

The mother had remained steadfast… Because she had been willing to die,  So those under the cover of her wings would live.

‘He will cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you will find refuge.’ (Psalm 91:4)

Life is not that hard

Five Lesson About The Way We Treat People

Download power point Five Lesson About The Way We Treat People

1 – First Important Lesson – Cleaning Lady.

During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student And had breezed through the questions until I read

The last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the Cleaning woman several times. She was tall, Dark-haired and in her 50’s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question Blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if The last question would count toward our quiz grade.

“Absolutely, ” said the professor.. “In your careers, You will meet many people.  All are significant.. They Deserve your attention and care, even if all you do Is smile and say “hello..” I’ve never forgotten that lesson.. I also learned her Name was Dorothy.

2. – Second Important Lesson – Pickup in the Rain

One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American  Woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway Trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had Broken down and she desperately needed a ride.

Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally Unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960’s. The man Took her to safety, helped her get assistance and Put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his Address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a Knock came on the man’s door. To his surprise, a Giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A Special note was attached.

It read:

“Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway The other night. The rain drenched not only my Clothes, but also my spirits.  Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying Husband’s’ bedside just before he passed away… God Bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving Others.”

Sincerely,

Mrs. Nat King Cole.

3 – Third Important Lesson – Always remember those Who serve.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, A 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and Sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in Front of him. “How much is an ice cream sundae?” he asked. “Fifty cents,” replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

“Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?” he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the Waitress was growing impatient..

“Thirty-five cents,” she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.  The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice Cream, paid the cashier and left..  When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the Table.  There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, Were two nickels and five pennies..

You see, he couldn’t  have the sundae, because he had To have enough left to leave her a tip.

4 – Fourth Important Lesson. – The obstacle in Our Path.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a Roadway.  Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock.  Some of the
King’s’ wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by And simply walked around it..  Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did
anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables.  Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road.  After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been.

The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.  The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

5 – Fifth Important Lesson – Giving When it Counts…

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease.  Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness.  The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.

I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, “Yes I’ll do it if it will save her.”  As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.

He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I start to die right away”. Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Now you have choices.

You never know how or when you’ll be paid!

Live Simply so that others may Simply Live…

After A Woman’s Day — inspirational power point—

A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed home. And further jealous of her, as he received lot of Woman’s Day wishes and compliments, he wanted her to see what he went through, so he prayed:

“Dear Lord, I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife stays at home. I want her to know what I go to through. So, please allow her body to switch with mine for a day. Amen!”

POOFFF!!!  God, in His/Her infinite wisdom, granted the man’s wish.

The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, and awakened the kids. Set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches, and drove them to school.  Came home and picked up the dry cleaning, took it to the cleaners and stopped at the bank to make a deposit, went grocery shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries,  paid the bills and balanced the check book….He cleaned the cat’s litter box and bathed the dog.

Then it was already 1.00 pm, he hurried to make the beds…do the laundry…vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor….. Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home. Set out milk and cookies and… got the kids organized to do their homework.

Then set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing. At 4.30 PP he began preparing the dinner, cooking rice, washing vegetables, rolled meatballs… Then bathed the kids.  After dinner, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher…folded laundry, put the kids to the beds. At 9.00 pm, he was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren’t finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint.

The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: “Lord, I don’t know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife’s being able to stay home all day. Please, oh, oh, please, let us trade back. Amen!!!”

The Lord, in His/Her infinite wisdom replied: “My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You’ll just have to wait nine months, though. You got pregnant last night.”

Pass this on to your lady friends to remind them how fantastic they are….pass it on to males you know. Sometimes they need to be reminded..!!!

Corporate Lessons — inspirational power point —

So, we will be going through change. Here are three lessons from large corporations to help you survive change….

Corporate Lesson 1

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him, “Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?” The crow answered: “Sure, why not.”  So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, Jumped on the rabbit… and ate it.

Moral of the story is : To be sitting and doing nothing you must be sitting very, very high up. Baca lebih lanjut

A LESSON in PERSEVERANCE (Songbirds) — inspirational power point —

Have you ever observed the behaviour of birds in the face of adversity? For days and days they make their nests, sometimes gathering materials brought from far away, And when they have completed the nest and are ready to lay eggs, the weather, or the work of humans, or some animal, destroys it, and it falls to the ground, all that they have  done with so much effort . Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Farewell Letter

A  FAREWELL  LETTER  FROM  A  GENIUS*

Gabriel Garcia Marquez, famous writer from Colombia ( familiarly known as “Gabo” in his native country), and Nobel prize winner for literature in 1982, has retired from public life for reasons of health. He has a form of cancer which is terminal. He has sent a farewell letter to his friends and it has been circulated around the Internet. It is recommended reading because it is moving to see how one of the best and most brilliant of writers expresses himself & with sorrow. The following  slides will show what he says…

If God, for a second, forgot what I have become and granted me a little bit more of life, I would use it to the best of my ability. I wouldn’t possibly, say everything that is in my mind, but I would be more thoughtful of all I say…I would give merit to things not for what they are worth, but for what they mean to express..

I would sleep less, I would dream more, because I know that for every minute that we close our eyes, we waste 60 seconds of light. I would walk while others stop; I would awake while others sleep. If God would give me a little bit more of life, I would dress in a simple manner, I would place myself in front of the sun, leaving not only my body, but my soul naked at its mercy….

To all , I would say how mistaken they are when they think that they stop falling in love when they grow old, without knowing that they grow old when they stop falling in love….

I would give wings to children, but I would leave it to them to learn how to fly by themselves. To old people I would say that death doesn’t arrive when they grow old, but with forgetfulness. I have learned so much with you all, I have learned that everybody wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that true happiness is obtained in the journey taken & the form used to reach the top of the hill.

I have learned that when a newborn baby holds, with its little hand, his father’s finger, it has trapped him for the rest of his life. I have learned that a man has the right and obligation to look down at another man, only when that man needs help to get up from the ground..

Say always what you feel, not what you think. If I knew that today is the last time that that I am going to see you asleep, I would hug you with all my strength and I would pray to the Lord to let me be the guardian angel of your soul….

If I knew that these are the last moments to see you, I would say “I love you”.

There is always tomorrow, and life gives us another opportunity to do things right, but in case I am wrong, and today is all that is left to me, I would love to tell you how much I love you & that I will never forget you.

Tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone, young or old. Today could be the last time to see your loved ones, which is why you mustn’t wait; do it today, in case tomorrow never arrives. I am sure you will be sorry you wasted the opportunity today to give a smile, a hug, a kiss, and that you were too busy to grant them their last wish.

Keep your loved ones near you; tell them in their ears and to their faces how much you need them and love them. Love them and treat them well; take your time to tell them “I am sorry”;” forgive me”,” please“, “thank you”, and all those loving words you know!

Nobody will know you for your secret thought. Ask the Lord for wisdom and strength to express them.

Show your friends and loved ones how important they are to you. Send this letter to those you love. If you don’t do it today… tomorrow will be like yesterday, and if you never do it, it doesn’t matter, either, the moment to do it is NOW…

For you,

With much love,

Your Friend,

Gabriel Garcia Marquez
